Printed Leaflets or Flyers

 The humble leaflet in the 21st century.

Leaflets (or pamphlets as they’re occasionally referred too) offer an endless range of possibilities and shapes and sizes. The most common are A5 leaflets or 1/3 A4 leaflets (compliment size when folded). At Bananas Print we love leaflets and flyers too of every shape and size.
What is the difference between a leaflet and a flyer? Now there’s a question and am sure there’s many thoughts on the internet, our interpretation when viewing our website is thus:
A leaflet is printed on a lighter weight material and is often something used maybe for mass marketing or at an exhibition, a flyer tends to be printed on thicker material and might for instance be shaped. Shaped flyers are a great way of attraction attention to a product.
Our leaflet weight starts at 130gsm gloss whilst our flyer weight starts at 250gsm gloss.
How many purposes can you think of for a leaflet or flyer?
